Picnic Party evokes the spirit of summer gatherings outdoors, with fruit, fresh flowers, and warm drinks to accompany cake to be shared among friends.

It is painted on four panels that can be rearranged to circulate through a series of possible compositions. Nothing quite begins or ends; each arrangement holds a moment, then gently gives way to another.
